Why? Because it is the most effective way to speak to the Spanish-speaking audience living, working, and travelling in New York.

Effectiveness is the keyword here.

So why in the Paris métro and everywhere else in France, many ads appear with a global tagline in English when only a quarter of the French population speaks it?

US advertisers understand something fundamental in advertising in their own territory that seems to elude them when it comes to advertising in France.

To me, it looks like a complete waste of money and contempt for their potential market.

Always create or transcreate your taglines; it is the least you can do to further your ROI and KPI.

And the best solution is to hire a French copywriter and transcreator.

Request my mini guide to transcreation and see what I can do for you and what you shouldn’t do.
